Hola a todos.
Tengo una inquietud en este momento. Estoy pensando en comprar un computador nuevo, el actual tiene las horas contadas... Pero estoy muy insegura respecto a la plataforma, PC o MAC???

1. Mi experiencia con PC: Siempre he utilizado el sistema operativo de windows, actualmente utilizo el XP, con todas sus chocheras y todo pero es en el que mejor me desenvuelvo con los softwares de diseño (COREL, PHOTOSHOP, FLASH, ILLUSTRATOR, ETC.)

2. Mi experiencia con MAC: Durante mi carrera utilizamos los MAC G5 (sólo dos semestres), y la verdad no me llamaron mucho la atención, no me parecen tan amigables con el usuario como PC, digamos que no es igual de intuitivo además de una que otra cosilla (Y NO TIENEN CLIC SECUNDARIO!!!), además siempre me tomaba el doble de tiempo en hacer cualquier cosa (debido a mi inexperiencia).

Toda esa carreta era para explicar que nací PC, me crié con PC y no sé si continuar, a pesar de que mi experiencia con MAC no fue muy productiva ni llamativa, los MAC son los mejores equipos para software de diseño, y yo como diseñadora gráfica eso es lo que necesito, pero no sé hasta qué punto sea capaz de acoplarme, ya que un MAC requiere de una inversión bastante considerable y tiene todas las restricciones que se quiera, que software disponible, fuentes, estilos, etc... cosa que no pasa con PC.

Así que quisiera pedir opiniones al respecto, especialmente de aquellos que trabajan con MAC, cómo ha sido su experiencia de "traslado" de PC a MAC y si realmente vale la pena. Muchas gracias y espero comentarios y sugerencias.

Hello everyone.
I'm thinking about gettin a new computer, the current one is going xtra miles... But I'm not sure about which platform should I buy, PC or MAC???

1. My experience with PC: I've always used Windows, right now I use XP, along with all it's problems and stuff but for me it works nice with design softwares (COREL, PHOTOSHOP, FLASH, ILLUSTRATOR, ETC.)

2. My experience with MAC: While I was in college we used MAC G5 (only for two semesters), and to tell the truth, it wasn't very exciting, they didn't seem so user friendly as PC, let's just say it's not as intuitive (AND THEY DON'T HAVE RIGHT CLIC!!!), besides, anything took twice the time to make (due to my inexperience).

All this blah blah is ment to explain that I was born and raised PC, but I'm not sure if I should continue with it, despite my awful experience with MAC, they're the best computers for design software, and as a graphic designer, is just what I need, but I don't know if I can handle the transition, since MAC are quite more expensive and has a lot of restrictions, softwares, fonts, styles, etc... wich doesn't happen with PC.

So, I'd like to hear some opinios about this, specially from those who work with MAC, how has they're "transition" experience been like from PC to MAC, and if it's really worthy. Thanks a lot and I hope to get some sugestions and comments.
